The forum 2024, was an amazingly rapid progression of commitments, conversations, and conclusions. There are pitfalls in the workers' compensation community. I was struck in 2024 with the number of younger community members that attended. I am hopeful that the Governor will agree with the Commission's conclusions!

Hunt made this announcement yesterday at the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester, where he committed to accept the Low Pay Commission’s recommendations. At the moment it is £10.42

New FTC Rule Bans Non-Compete Agreements

The Federal Trade Commission on April 23 approved a new rule that bans employers from requiring new employees to sign non-compete agreements. The rule will take effect in August 2024, after the commission voted 3-2 to approve it. Researchers estimate that over 95% of workers with a non-compete already have an NDA.

Working Weekends—Greece Approves a Six-Day Workweek

Workers with full-time jobs can work with an additional part-time employer for five hours a day apart from their existing eight-hour commitment to their primary employer.
