All businesses in Illinois are required to register with the Illinois Secretary of State , the Workers’ Compensation Commission , and the Illinois Department of Revenue. Show proof of workers compensation insurance to the Workers Compensation Board. Workers’ compensation must be obtained from a private insurance carrier.
