Virgin Media O2 reports 9.7% mean ethnicity hourly pay gap

Media and telecommunications organisation Virgin Media O2 has reported a 9.7% mean ethnicity hourly pay gap for 2023. The organisation’s 2023 median ethnicity hourly pay gap was 13.3%. Meanwhile, its mean ethnicity bonus gap was 41.3%, equivalent to a £3,315 gap, and its median gap was 39.4%, equivalent to a £1,439 gap. A total of 85.5% of white employees received a bonus, whereas 86.9% of employees from what the organisation calls a global majority background received a bonus that year.
