I have been visiting Brazil for ten years now, spending half of the three years between 2010-2012 in this city, and I am constantly flabbergasted at how ridiculously high the prices have become. I would single out two of these: high taxes and low worker productivity. High taxes are not in and of themselves a bad thing.
