The FTC’s non-compete ban has been delayed by a judge in Texas this week. Earlier this year, the Federal Trade Commission decided to take serious action against businesses forcing employees to sign non-competes as it believed the decision would “lead to new business formation growing by 2.7 percent per year, resulting in more than 8,500 additional new businesses created each year.

Swindon bus drivers employed by Stagecoach have accepted a pay deal worth more than 17% following a dispute over wages. The employees, who are members of trade union Unite, will see their pay increase by more than 11% in the first year and by a total of 6% in the second year.
