We Care Group launches staff bonus programme

We Care Group, a UK care home organisation with 35 homes across the north of England, has introduced a new staff bonus programme. As part of the initiative, the group’s employees will be awarded bonuses every three months, after receiving two initial quarterly payments in July and September worth £200,000 each. This will see the annual bonus amount exceed £1 million in the first 12 months.

59% of UK millennials struggle to save for retirement due to life stage

Six in 10 (59%) UK millennial employees have admitted that their current life stage means they struggle to save for retirement, compared to 48% of Gen Z and 39% of Gen X staff. According to new research by long-term savings and retirement business Phoenix Group, among 4,000 UK adults, 25% of millennial respondents in their late 20s to early 40s revealed that income change is the main reason, with a similar proportion (24%) citing childcare responsibilities.
